With humility and heartfelt joy, we invite you to the Arangetram of Asha Parvati, disciple of Smt. Meena Elankumaran.
An arangetram marks a significant milestone in a Bharatanatyam dancer’s journey, signifying years of rigorous training, discipline, and artistic refinement. Literally meaning “ascending the stage,” it is the dancer’s first full-length solo performance, offered as both an expression of devotion to the art form and a tribute to the guru who has guided their path.
Through a carefully curated repertoire, this performance offers a glimpse into Asha's journey in movement, rhythm, and expression as well as her deep engagement with the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam.
Your presence and blessings are warmly invited as she takes this momentous step in her artistic journey.
