About this event
A invitation to slow down, listen deeply and embrace the transcendent quality of ritual.
Third Space Co
What is a tea ceremony
A guided ritual of mindful tea preparation and shared presence, inviting participants to slow down, engage their senses, and experience the simple act of drinking tea with intention. It is a silent event bringing spaciousness to peoples everyday experience. It allows for restoration, contemplation and letting go. A beautiful way to reset your nervous system.
What to expect
1 hour tea sitting.
1/2 hour integration, connection and optional sharing.
The ceremonial nature of tea honours the sacredness of life and highlights the beauty that can be found in the simplest of moments. Come and embrace the quietude as time extends, stillness reigns and the rhythm and dance of elements captivate your senses.
Pu'erh tea will be served
Revered in Chinese tea culture for centuries, Pu'erh is one of the world's few post-fermented teas. Unlike green, white or black tea, it undergoes a unique microbial fermentation and aging process, where naturally occurring bacteria, yeasts and beneficial fungi transform the tea over time. This ancient process develops its remarkable depth of flavour, smooth, mellow character, and distinctive earthy aroma while naturally altering the tea's polyphenols and other beneficial compounds.
Traditionally enjoyed for its digestive support, cleansing qualities, and naturally occurring antioxidants that contribute to overall wellbeing, Pu'erh offers a deeply grounding experience that invites presence with every cup.ng water.
No experience is required
Bring an open mind and a willingness to sit, endulge in the enchanting aroma of tea and soak up the subtle wisdom around you. When we take a pause and quite the mind we reconnect with our higher-self, which is constantly guiding us. Take a breath and soften into a space that embraces stillness and connection.
Is this for you
If you are feeling a call for stillness, this is for you.
If you delight in the divine, this is for.
If you need space to unwind and disconnect, this is for you.
If you desire to connect to your higher-self, this is for you.
If you're stressed and overwhelmed, this is for you.
Do you know the one thing all psychological frameworks have in common?
If you go beyond the 'process of change' all frameworks come back to cultivating present moment awareness, otherwise known as mindfulness. A tea ceremony is a beautiful way to practice this. As you grow your awareness, you'll notice the sensibility of the practice weave into your everyday life. Cultivation of the here and now is profound and brings us back to 'being' rather than always 'doing'.
