About this event

Take time for yourself, connect with others who understand.

Caring for a family member or loved one can be rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. You don't have to do it alone.

Our Hindi Carer Peer Support Group is a welcoming 8-week program designed for unpaid Carers who would like to connect with others in their community, share experiences in a culturally safe and supportive environment, and take some well-deserved time for themselves.

Delivered in Hindi, this group provides a relaxed space where you can meet other Carers who understand the challenges and joys of the caring role. Together, we'll explore topics that support your health and wellbeing, build resilience, and strengthen connections with others who truly understand.

Whether you're looking for friendship, practical ideas, or simply an opportunity to step away from your caring responsibilities for a little while, you're warmly invited to join us.

Over the 8 weeks, you'll enjoy:

• Meaningful conversations with fellow unpaid Carers.

• A safe, welcoming and culturally inclusive environment.

• Information and wellbeing activities designed to support you in your caring role.

• Opportunities to build friendships and reduce feelings of isolation.

• Time dedicated to your own wellbeing.

Who can attend? This group is open to anyone providing unpaid care to a family member, friend or neighbour living with disability, mental ill health, chronic illness, dementia, age-related frailty, or other support needs.

Please note: This is an 8-week peer support program. We encourage participants to attend each session where possible to get the most from the experience and build lasting connections with the group.

Come along, connect with others, and remember—you deserve support too. We look forward to welcoming you.
